After a slow start to the year for Xbox Series X, the system has seen quite a few blockbuster titles released these past few months. From Outriders to MLB The Show 21 to Resident Evil Village to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, we’ve been staying busy on Microsoft’s next-gen console.

The momentum continues in June with the release of several exciting games, including Chivalry 2, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, and Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

Tuque Games’ action RPG Dungeons  Dragons: Dark Alliance is the spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II, taking players to the frozen tundra region of Icewind Dale. There are multiple heroes to choose from and cross-play support with up to four-player  across PC and console. Dark Alliance will be available to Xbox Game Pass on Day One.

Take a look at what else is coming to Xbox Series X in June.

  • Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection – June 1
  • Necromunda: Hired Gun – June 1
  • Stonefly – June 1
  • Astalon: Tears of the Earth – June 3
  • Griftlands – June 4
  • The Persistence Enhanced – June 4
  • Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 – June 4
  • Chivalry 2 – June 8
  • Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection – June 10
  • The Elder Scrolls Online – June 15
  • Metro Exodus Complete Edition – June 18
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance – June 22
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX – June 24
  • Scarlet Nexus – June 25
  • Ghoul Patrol – June 29
  • Zombies Ate My Neighbors – June 29
  • Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis – June (TBA)

You’ll notice Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has a “TBA” next to it. That’s because there is no firm release date as of yet. It’s coming to Xbox Series X at some point in June, we just don’t know when exactly.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is a massive update and separate “shared universe” game to Phantasy Star Online. It completely revamps the game, everything from the graphics engine to the character creation system to the actual gameplay, which transforms it into an open-field RPG.

June also marks the month in which E3 is held and Microsoft has big plans for the event. The company will be hosting a joint conference for Xbox and the recently acquired Bethesda Game Studios. We’ll hopefully get a look at what the second half of the year will bring to Xbox Series X, and we already know one of the titles we can look forward to: Halo Infinite.
