While he’s primarily known for his talent of the basketball court, Paul George is also known to be obsessed with playing video games. This passion has been transferred into his sneaker lineup as various styles of his signature Nike models have been designed in collaboration with Sony Playstation, and this series is slated to continue as this impending Nike PG 5 “Playstation” in an alternate blue colorway has been revealed.

Unlike its previously revealed “White” colorway which was influenced by the actual Playstation 5 console itself, this latest iteration to arise appears to draw from various elements of the system. Side panels are outfitted with a gradient of black and royal blue backgrounds and channel the look of the tech piece’s home screen when flipped on, and the primary buttons that are found the Playstation‘s controllers are used as all-over patterns for the forefoot and heel overlays. The heel Swooshes also usher in more blue accents but in a striking way that almost looks like its glowing from the inside. Collars and tongues are presented with clean white for contrasting, the former being ornamented with the Playstation logo on the right foot and the Clippers‘ guard’s insignia on the left. Moreover, the heel tabs alternate between “PG5” on the left and “PS5” on the right in the console’s signature font.

Elsewhere in sneaker news, Mimi Plange’s LeBron 18 Low “Higher Learning” colorway has been unveiled.
